Certified Canine Fitness Trainer

Certified Experts

It takes specialized knowledge to design and implement programs specifically for canine fitness. We have multiple Certified Canine Fitness Trainers by the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. There are very few people with this unique certification in the state of Maryland and several of them are here on staff at DogiZone to help take care of your best friend!

  • Virtual Consultations - online in the comfort of home.
  • Treadmill Packages - for treadmill sessions at DogiZone
  • Fitness Evaluations - to test the fitness and performance of pets, working, sporting and competition dogs (not intended to evaluate or assess dogs that are lame, have been injured or are recovering from surgery)
  • Fit-Pup Check-Ups - puppies can get into, fall off of, and get nipped by so many things. Best to make sure today’s little thing doesn’t lead to tomorrow’s big problem.

  • Functional observation of dog to ensure they are physically fit to start a fitness program.
  • Measurements to determine areas of focus and to be able to track results -Fitness test to see the dog’s starting point for trainers to create a program.
  • A custom tailored program catered to the specific dogs needs and owners goals This consultation will help us to assess where we can best improve your dog’s physical fitness!
