  • Re-evaluations will only be done by request, no earlier than 3 months prior to the previous evaluation date. We reserve the right to evaluate dogs sooner depending on if their behavior has changed.
  • Playcademy is our premiere level of daycare, offering the highest level of individual attention with our task-oriented play schedule, so your dog can be more mentally and physically engaged. Some of the activities included in this program are treadmill, food puzzles, FitPAWS®, life skills and manners! This program is only for owners who are committed to providing the highest level of care. Each dog must attend 4 visits per month to keep your pet enrolled.

Training - (Visit Training)

To ensure you attain the results that you and your dog desire, all of our training guests are required to complete a training evaluation to determine which program is best for you and your family. DogiZone is not a method-based training company, meaning that our trainers do not adhere to just one style of training.

General Information

  • The training evaluation is the best first step toward a well-trained dog. During the appointment, a certified trainer will sit down with you and your dog and discuss the issues you’re experiencing and the goals that you have, then provide their professional recommendations for the best training program for you.
  • Camp Training is our most effective and also our most popular way to train your dog. Your dog would either stay with us overnight and receive multiple daily training sessions, or attend our day camp and return home with your family each evening. This means you can spend more of your time enjoying your dog rather than being frustrated by not getting results. Both options deliver concentrated dog training while you are at work, out running errands, or even on vacation!
  • University Classes allow you and your dog to train at your own pace in a small group environment, so you can get questions answered that you didn’t even know to ask and get support from peers. We offer Puppy Pre-school, Elementary, Middle, High School, College, and Dog-torate Level Classes
  • Private Training is for our guests who want to be more involved in their dog’s training journey, working one-on-one with our expert trainers. This option is the most personalized training solution.
  • All guests participating in Training are required to sign The Rules of the Game agreement.
  • Some training options may require the purchase of additional equipment. DogiZone® recommends purchasing equipment directly from us, so that in the event of an equipment failure your items can be quickly repaired or replaced. We only use specific brands for training and will not utilize outside unapproved brands during training in our facility.
  • The ideal time to start training your puppy is 8-20 weeks of age, a critical development period for socialization and learning to encourage lifelong confidence.

Policies & Safety

  • For safety reasons, if any pet shows signs, or has a history of, aggressive behavior such as biting, we reserve the right to refuse service and may refer you to your veterinarian.
  • We ask that all training students arrive 5-10 minutes before their scheduled appointment or class time to allow your dog time to eliminate, to avoid causing a disturbance to the training process.
  • Extreme Weather Rule: Classes will be held in our covered, outside training zone during weather conditions above 32° and below 90° fahrenheit.
  • Inclement Weather Policy: During the winter months, DogiZone follows Montgomery County Public Schools for closures. If MCPS is closed, DogiZone will NOT run classes.
